Assist clients with managing labour relations issues, including certification applications, unfair labour practices, collective agreement negotiations, and resolution of grievances.

Manage wrongful dismissal actions through all stages of litigation

8+ years’ experience as an Employment Lawyer in private practice or in-house

Experience dealing with employment law issues across Canada

Knowledge of Immigration Law is an asset

Draft employment and secondment contracts, termination letters, employment policies & procedures and other employment related documents.

Salary: $125,000 – $150,000, plus profit sharing and referral bonuses.

An annual salary of $65,000-$85,000 depending on experience, skills, agreed working hours, and working location;

Has 2-6 years’ practice experience in Canada (preferably Ontario);

Has practice experience with employment law, civil litigation, administrative law, not-for-profit law, human rights law, and/or Aboriginal and Indigenous law;

Has excellent advocacy, communication, strategic thinking, and legal research skills;

Is experienced with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace;

Have experience managing client relationships.

$105,000 to $125,000 annual base salary which will vary based on year of call, experience, and personal targets.

Be a 3-5 year call.

Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a legal, local government/public administration and corporate setting

Extensive knowledge of federal laws and regulations

High-level awareness and knowledge of Indigenous/corporate law, structures of various levels of government and First Nation Self-governance

Support the full scope of legal work, including interpretation, amendment and implementation of employment law, policies and procedures.
