Develop and maintain web-based objects to support the ManchesterCF’s online course offerings (eg, learning objects, games, interactive web components, etc).

Successful completion of a college or university degree in graphic design, digital design, visual communication or education-related discipline, or equivalent.

Experience creating graphics in different sizes and aspect ratios for a variety of social media platforms.

Knowledge of web design process and best practices, including image optimisation, responsive design, basic HTML and CSS.

Knowledge of the publishing industry and familiarity with obtaining licences and permissions for image use.

Time Management: Meeting project deadlines and effectively managing time is vital, especially in our fast-paced industry.

Post-Processing and Editing: Post-processing tasks such as image retouching, colour correction, video editing, and adding special effects.

Creativity: Thinking creatively and creating unique and visually compelling ideas for photo and video projects is ideal.

Networking: Building a strong professional network within the industry can lead to more opportunities and collaborations.

No previous experience is required however skills in writing, editing, and visual design are an asset.

Wage rate: $30/hour; based on experience and skills.

A solid understanding of social media best practices is also a plus.

Research and proactively recommend ideas, solutions and new content for the brands you are working on.

Work collaboratively within and beyond the Editorial department, supporting creative campaigns, influencer content and production when needed.
