Responsibilities
Capturing Images or Footage: Take high-quality photographs and video footage based on the project's requirements. This involves using professional cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, and other necessary tools to create visually appealing editorial content.
Pre-production Planning: Before a shoot, photographers/videographers participate in pre-production meetings, take creative direction, and understand the specific goals of the campaign. Assist in developing shot lists and storyboards and determining the equipment and resources needed for the project.
Setting Up Equipment: Photographers/videographers are responsible for calibrating cameras, tripods, lighting, and audio equipment to ensure optimal conditions for capturing images or video.
Directing Subjects: During photoshoots or video shoots, photographers/videographers may need to direct and guide their subjects or actors to achieve the desired composition and emotions. Possess communication skills to help clients or models feel comfortable in front of the camera.
Post-Processing and Editing: Post-processing tasks such as image retouching, colour correction, video editing, and adding special effects.
Qualifications
Photography/Videography Skills: A strong foundation in photography and/or videography techniques, including composition, lighting, exposure, and camera operation, is essential.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in using cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, and editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).

Creativity: Thinking creatively and creating unique and visually compelling ideas for photo and video projects is ideal.
Communication Skills: Good communication skills are essential for working with clients, models, or actors and for effectively understanding and conveying their vision.

Adaptability: Photographers and videographers often work in various settings, from studio shoots to outdoor locations, and may encounter unexpected challenges. Being adaptable and able to problem-solve on the spot is essential.
Attention to Detail: Paying attention to the most minor details can make a significant difference in the quality of the final output.
Networking: Building a strong professional network within the industry can lead to more opportunities and collaborations.
