We are a local start-up design studio specializing in interior design, furnishing, and decoration. We're looking for a talented and passionate student content creator to join our team! As our content creator, you will be responsible for capturing and creating engaging visual content that showcases our projects, behind-the-scenes processes, and creative editorial shoots. Additionally, you will play a key role in launching our upcoming decor line.
Responsibilities:
- Produce weekly content through videos and photos with team collaboratively to be used for company social medias.
- Edit and retouch visual content to create visually appealing and engaging posts for our social media platforms, with a strong emphasis on Instagram.
- Capture high-quality photographs and videos that highlight our interior design projects, decor line, and behind-the-scenes processes.
- Collaborate with our design team to brainstorm and execute creative content ideas that align with our brand and current trends.
- Help manage and maintain our social media accounts, including scheduling posts, engaging with our audience, and staying up-to-date with social media trends.
- Stay current with industry trends, including photography and videography techniques, interior design styles, and social media best practices.
Requirements:
- Proficient in photo and video editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, or other relevant software.
- Passion for interior design, decor, and stay updated with the latest design trends.
- Strong proficiency in photography and videography, with a keen eye for detail, composition, and lighting.
- Knowledge of social media platforms, particularly Instagram, and a strong understanding of social media trends.
- Must have a portfolio of previous photography and videography work.
- **Must be enrolled in a relevant post-secondary program such as photography, videography, graphic design, or a related field.*** Current student or recent graduate (last 6 months) from an Alberta post-secondary institution
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
This is a part-time position, must currently be a post-secondary student who is passionate about photography, videography, and interior design. If you are a creative, detail-oriented, and motivated individual who can bring fresh ideas to our team, we would love to hear from you!
