Experience working in a cooperative / member-based organization

Experience working with a large/complex organization

Marketing communications and/or brand experience

Experience working in the Agile methodology

Experience and/or training in graphic design, visual design, user experience and/or video production for communication

Accreditation or certification in communications, public relations or marketing

Organized, detail-oriented, strong time management skills, and able to plan and organize work with multiple demands and deadlines.

Post-secondary education in a related field like Event Management, Business Administration, or Volunteer Management.

Proficient in using MS Office with prior experience using a CRM (ACGI) and Survey Monkey are considered an asset.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills for internal and external communications.

A minimum of two years’ related experience is required.

Experience with event planning and coordination of volunteers is an asset.

Knowledge of and experience in the energy sector or equivalent

Deliver excellent customer service experiences to members

Work with other members of the team to engage members in events, programs and services that can benefit them

Manage the budget related to area of responsibility in accordance with the financial objectives of the Association

Superior written and verbal communications skills

Network through industry and community events to build relationships with members and prospective members

Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, coaching and mentoring skills.

Salary range dependent on experience
