Director Of Maintenance And Operations Jobs in British Columbia

Experience either performing or supervising helicopter maintenance; six months of which has been within the preceding two years

Ability to manage and oversee AME’s and apprentices time and work-related tasks through a work order system and maintenance tracking system

Proven working knowledge of general aircraft repair, fabrication, and/or installation

Must have strong English (written and spoken) communication skills and pass the Transport Canada PRM interview

Ensure all applicable airworthiness requirements are met with proactive forecasting of maintenance events

Remuneration 160K – 180K depending on experience.

Minimum three (3) years experience in progressive maintenance leadership roles; preferably in residential or commercial property management

Undertake regular check-ins, team meetings, and performance management as needed

Participate in recruitment, retention, labor relations matters and oversee team performance management;

Participate in the annual budgeting process and budget management/control efforts;

Support direct reporting managers through coaching, mentoring, guiding, problem solving, and professional development;

Help the Executive Team develop and implement department goals, targets, and operational requirements consistent with organizational objectives;

Knowledge and understanding of Application Performance Management toolsets and player experience monitoring.

Demonstrated experience in strategic business planning and resource management in a leadership capacity;

10-12 years’ in Information Technology, including at least 5-7 years’ experience in a managerial capacity;

An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.

Possession of a Project Management certificate or a degree related to Aviation Engineering.

Develop and implement procurement and supply chain strategies to secure the best value services from vendors.

Contribute subject matter expertise to bidding activities and assist in the delivery of future contract mobilization plans.

Foster and strengthen business-to-business relationships within the Canadian Aviation market.

Proven track record of building a high-performing, safety-focused culture with strong engagement from team members.

Minimum of 8 years project management and team leadership experience.

Education requirement University degree bachelor's or equivalent professional experience.

Experience in multiple project management methodologies

Establish and put in place management strategies aiming at improving the team's efficiency and quality of work

Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
