Director of Financial Services Jobs in British Columbia

• Progressive experience within the financial management functions (7-10 years)

• Proven experience in expense management, cost accounting, activity based costing, and financial modeling

• Present business reviews senior management

• Accounting designation (CPA) or equivalent relevant business experience

• Familiar with / basic knowledge of cost recovery / chargeback models.

• Experience working with Oracle Financials and Hyperion Planning would be an asset

Excellent organization skills and time management capabilities. You have a strong ability to multitask, rather than being a pure analyst

Experience with ERP system implementations and internal change management process strongly preferred

Collaborate with Controller, CFO and COO to gather key data and compile rolling budgets and managerial reports for senior management

In collaboration with CFO and Corporate Controller, manage financing strategies, analysis, forecasting and budget management

5 years of relevant industry experience in a managerial capacity

ERP system experience, expert proficiency in Excel modelling and expert-level analytical skills

· Professional accounting designation (CPA) supplemented by extensive financial and payroll management experience.

2. Develop, implement, monitor, evaluate and provide senior leadership for the financial management, payroll and reception services.

19. Leadership of human resource management of the department.

· Demonstrated ability to take action in a crisis management environment.

· ensuring payroll is prepared in accordance to regulatory requirements and collective agreements.

5+ years’ experience post-CPA designation in a financial reporting and/or forecasting capacity.

Public practice audit experience is an asset.
