Processing trade amendments, bookings and cancellations into the GE Front Office systems as requested and approved by the GE desks

Investigating and resolving breaks between GE systems raised by internal settlements and middle office teams

Assisting the Sales desk in the opening of new and existing client and broker accounts

Detail-oriented, strong time management and organization skills

Good knowledge of commodity derivative transactions and strong understanding of the complexity of derivative transactions

Performing exception management, reconciliations, and data analysis across-systems to ensure counterparties are correctly mapped for downstream reporting

Assisting GBM clients in satisfying OTC Derivative Trading Regulatory Requirements (CanDer, Dodd-Frank, EMIR, HKMA, MAS)

Ensuring client files are properly documented, while containing appropriate regulatory/data attributes to facilitate accurate downstream reporting

Conduct ongoing client quality control reviews to ensure files are refreshed with accurate and complete data attributes

Responsible for updating 1A regulatory onboarding procedures, as well as making risk-based decisions under extremely strict timelines.

Supports on all regulatory and ad-hoc requests involving compliance status’ and questions surrounding client-data.

7-10 years Business Analysis experience in Application Management environment within the financial sector.

Work independently or with management to identify complex operational business issues and develop creative solutions involving workflow procedures and/or new technologies.

Experience with business requirements gathering and UAT script/scenario documentation.

Knowledge of financial services industry compliance and regulatory requirements.

Ability to cultivate relationships with key partners and business senior management.

Ensure that all processes and systems work within the mandated regulatory and compliance requirements for the industry.

Strong knowledge of Trade Management systems (SAP, Exceedra, Blacksmith, etc)

Work closely with Trade Finance to ensure audit requirements are adhered to

Proactively initiates, leads, and participates in all stages of continuous improvement initiatives as well as new business requirements/projects

University/College degree in Business, preferably with Finance designation or working towards a designation

2-5 years of Financial Analyst experience

Some knowledge of metal alloy identification is helpful, but not necessary.
