The Trade Support Clerk will manage the administrative duties related to the metal commodities business functions. Reporting to the Sales Operations Manager, this position requires business experience as well as a strong sense of detail and accuracy in approaching pricing and financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Enter data and distribute prices for current metals.
• Perform general administrative duties as required.
• Create and update customer database.
• Work directly with the General Manager to optimize market trends.
• Create and update contracts with suppliers.

Qualifications

• Ability to organize daily workload according to priorities.
• Some knowledge of metal alloy identification is helpful, but not necessary.
• Bilingual in French and English, both verbal and written.
• 3 to 5 years experience in a similar position.
• Ability to gather, interpret and distribute numbers and information quickly.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• A college diploma or university degree with a specialization in administration is required.
• Thorough understanding of the MS Office suite.
