Department Planning Coordinator Jobs in Ontario

Project and contract management skills and experience required plus facilitation and change management experience

BCIN, PMP, and/or change management certification an asset,

Manages new product delivery and move management for new construction and renovations.

Manages minor construction work through the use of the Job Order Contract (JOC) or Low Value Acquisition (LVA).

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide technical assistance to clients,

Ensure conformance of design with all applicable codes and regulations

An equivalent combination of education, experience and qualifications may be considered.

Completion of a post-secondary diploma or degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering or related field of study (e.g. Planning/Environmental Management/Environmental Science).

3-5 years of Transportation Planning experience.

2-3 years of experience or background in computerized traffic analysis models and transportation/planning studies is preferred.

Knowledge of project development, scheduling, monitoring, and control systems.

Maintain current technical knowledge of transportation modeling principles and accepted practices, standards and guidelines. (5% of time)

Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Plans and manages production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements and utilize the company’s production capacity.

Minimum Requirement : 1-2 years planning experience in manufacturing plant

Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, operations management or supply chain, preferred.

Assists Production Manager with developing and distributing production schedules.

Receives and reviews sales orders against current requirements and work in process using the material requirement planning report.

2 plus years of analysis and planning experience, preferably in public sector and/or in transit industry

Research and analysis skills; ability to read statistical data

Post-secondary degree/diploma in urban planning, transportation or infrastructure planning or a related field

Understanding of Corporate planning and strategic/business planning processes

Ability to use Computer software and data systems

Ability to read and interpret site plans, subdivision plans, engineering drawings, etc.

Education Assistance Program for approved courses to upgrade knowledge and skills.

Education, Skills and Job Requirements:

Work with Service Technicians for follow through and process management of all work orders and sales orders.

Point of contact with external suppliers, vendors for parts ordering, management, returns and inventory required by Sales Representatives for client needs.

Participate in quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives in keeping with the company's Quality Management System.

Manage all service requests to meet KPIs.
