Candidates must have Canadian work experience

Preference may be given to individuals who have knowledge of Public Sector Accounting Standards.

Knowledge of Accounting and Financial Principles

Work hand-in-hand with our executive team to tackle mission-critical projects across finance/business intelligence.

Relevant degree or certification related to accounting.

Modeling out liquidity via 13w cash flow model.

Handling all aspects of financial reporting, including budgeting. You will work directly with our Cofounders & VP-level team.

Building financial models that show the impact on cash flow of certain initiatives.

Maintaining our Quickbooks instance, and taking full responsibility for book keeping.

1-2 years of experience as an Audit Manager in a big four firm.

Strong understanding of accounting and financial management principles.

Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with different stakeholders.

Prior experience in automation and coding in Python would be a plus.

7+ years progressive accounting/finance experience

Provide strategic analysis, interpreting results to drive improved decision making insights and capabilities

Manage internal controls in an IFRS17 environment, deliver timely tax filings and ensure FSRA compliance

University degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
