Construction Supervisor Internship Jobs

Engage in contractor management, ensuring adherence to best practices and obligations.

Degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields.

Proficient in MS Office Suite and project management tools.

Establish project schedules, develop work packages, and manage costs.

Power Line Technician (PLT) certification and CAPM/PMP are assets.

Minimum 10 years of construction experience, ideally at least 5 years in transmission line projects.

Proven experience as a Manager or Track Supervisor in the railroad industry (Ideally 10-15+ years of railroad experience).

Skilled in Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)

High knowledge of railroad track construction, maintenance, and inspection practices.

Excellent communication skills to prepare detailed reports and collaborate with teams effectively.

Bachelors degree, High school diploma or equivalent

Understanding of federal (Transport Canada) railroad-specific (CP/CN) regulations pertaining to railroad safety and compliance.

10+ years of experience managing, directing, supervising and coordinating the construction installations and finishes of high-end commercial hotel construction.

Must have comprehensive knowledge of project schedules, budgets, subcontractor scopes, and quality control.

Ability to work under pressure and maintain site schedule.

Must be able to provide direction and resolve problems amongst multiple subcontractors.

Ability to read and interpret construction plans and identify design deficiencies and impractical details.

Post secondary education in a related field (Civil Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, Construction, etc.)
