Relevant post-secondary education in Fundraising, Project Management, Community Development certificate (preference in non-profit organizations) or relevant qualifications..

Experience working in the human services in Ontario with a strong awareness of relevant current affairs and trends.

Training, certification or experience in a peer support role an asset

Knowledge of the barriers and stigma experienced by people who use drugs accessing health and social services

High School or post-secondary education is an asset

First Aid and CPR (level C) Certification In-House

Current or past experience with drug use or street level sex work

High degree of initiative; strong time management skills; and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Proficient computer skills and working knowledge of database software such as Saleforce.

Responsible for execution of sponsor and partner benefits prior to, during, and after events, including creating recap reports.

Collaborate with the Manager of Philanthropy and Director of Development on the identification and solicitation of major gifts.

Five years of recent major gift experience in fundraising.

Demonstrated knowledge in the technique of prospect research with the ability to extract pertinent/critical information from various sources.

Minimum 10 years’ experience in development and management of training programs for the community

Minimum 5 years of direct management experience of staff and training teams

Demonstrable experience and knowledge of online tools and techniques in delivering training and managing programs in remote settings and online platforms.

Excellent program management/time management and prioritization skills to deliver on multiple priorities.

Manage relationships with key funding partners, fulfill requirements, and completes reports related to grant agreements.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Organizational Development or a related discipline; Formal Adult Learning Designation

Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of Home Support policies within the program management structure of Home Health.

Demonstrated knowledge of principles of adult learning and critical thinking skills.

Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of nursing theory and evidence-based practice.

Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and revise education/training and orientation programs.

Demonstrated ability to resolve problems and effectively manage conflict situations.

Participates in the development and system-wide dissemination of information, standards, polices, procedures and guidelines for the designated clinical area.

Superb organizational, project and time management, problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ensuring compliance with all regulatory health and safety requirements.

Experience working in the non-profit sector and with vulnerable populations.

Excellent attention to detail; strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, research, and analytical skills.
