Leading the identification of technical design/support resource requirements and providing input into resources planning

5 to 10 years of land development design and municipal infrastructure experience at increasing levels of responsibility

Minimum of Two (2) years of related project or contract management experience in heavy construction or railroad environment;

Demonstrated project management experience in project accounting, project controls (cost, schedule, change management, etc.), procurement, contract administration, safety, and quality control.

In-depth working knowledge of land development principles and municipal requirements within the Province of Ontario.

Excellent communication and report writing skills and ability to prioritize/manage multiple project timelines.

Strong organization and time management skills.

Knowledge of and experience working with BIM, AutoCAD and Revit.

Assist with quality control and specifications as per contract requirements.

Ensure project cost requirements are met and coding procedures are followed.

2-3 years’ experience in the heavy civil construction industry

Excellent knowledge of contracts, industry practices and work codes.

4+ years of experience in Civil Engineering preferred, with a focus on consulting/design and project leading

Experience with Provincial and local Municipality design guidelines, the Ontario Building Code, and other applicable Canadian Engineering standards

Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and AutoCAD suites. Preference will be given to candidates with Civil3D experience

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Effective team builder with demonstrated abilities to motivate all levels of staff

Knowledge of engineering software related with Civil engineering (EPANET, MIDUSS, EPA SWMM, PCSWMM, others) considered an asset
