Post-secondary degree/diploma or the equivalent relevant working experience

Knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques (Tableau, PowerBI, Looker, etc.).

Proficient in SQL and experience with big data sets in a cloud environment

• 8-10 years of experience with gathering requirements as a Business Analyst.

• Advanced data analysis and SQL skills

• Financial Product knowledge, Front Office technology and Risk and Regulatory reporting is a distinct advantage.

At least 5+ years of experience in Tableau Desktop with direct ownership of tableau implementations.

• Experience in creating fully automated dashboards using Relational, non-relational, semi structured, unstructured data sources

• Working knowledge of API, Python/R is preferred

Create presentations on a weekly basis for mid to senior-level management

Experience using SQL or a strong desire to learn, SQL is critical for this role

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and strong interpersonal skills

Manage vendor relationships and contracts related to BI solutions.

At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role, managing a team of BI professionals.

Strong technical skills in SAP tools and technologies, including SAP BW, SAP HANA, SAP BusinessObjects, and Power BI.

Strong understanding of business processes (Finance, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Risk Management, and Corporate Performance Measurement)

Remains vigilant of industry and technological changes to improve knowledge and working skills related to areas of expertise and new technologies

Strong SQL coding skills are essential; Oracle, PL/SQL, and Unix scripting experience are considered an asset

Works with internal clients to understand their reporting requirements and business questions

Collaborates with others in Data and Business Intelligence to ensure clients’ requirements are met through report design

4y+ Insurance industry experience (experience in Ontario Auto insurance required)
