Associate Machine Learning Scientist Jobs

Minimum eight (8) years’ experience working in an Operations Research/ Machine Learning environment

3-5+ years of experience leading and delivering enterprise-scale operations research/ML projects and facilitating collaboration across teams

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, along with experience using machine learning libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)

Solid knowledge of statistical analysis and experimental design to evaluate model and algorithm performance effectively

Recent experience with distillation of NLP tasks from larger models to task specific smaller models is an asset

Effective communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience in translating complex analysis results to a non-technical audience

Previous experience in machine learning, data science, or a related field, specifically in a marketing or growth context

Experience with marketing analytics & audience building, Large Language Models, propensity modeling, reinforcement learning, bandit algorithms, and/or personalized marketing algorithms

Extensive experience (5+ years) in machine learning, data science, or a related field, specifically in a marketing or growth context

Develop and implement machine learning models for user conversion optimization, personalization, propensity modeling, and next best action recommendations

Autonomous driving R&D experience. Leadership or management experience with a R&D team for proof-of-concept deliveries.

At least 10 years of in-depth hands-on working experience in Python, C/C++, TensorFlow, PyTorch, MXNet, Keras, etc.

Proven experience of translating ideas into research prototypes quickly.

Extensive experience in working with nucleic acid, including practical skills in design, generation, modifying various types of nucleic acid.

Manage timelines and deliverables of external and internal programs to rapidly advance therapeutic programs.

Experience in mammalian cell culture experience.

Skilled in various microplate assays such as ELISA and reporter gene assays.

Experience across a broad range of relevant experimental techniques relating to antibody generation, drug discovery, and development.

MSc/PHD and post doc in Biochemistry with significant hands-on experience in cellular biology.

Experience in establishing biochemical assays such as FRET assays, absorbance assays, ELISas and potentially ion channel readouts.

Work with several enzyme and receptor targets and establish key readouts of cellular activity.

Provide laboratory leadership with biochemical assays and testing of key compounds and biologics.

Initiate and design of key biochemical and cellular assays that are based on principles of enzymology and GPCR pharmacology.

PhD (with 0-5 years postdoctoral or industrial experience) or MSc (with 5+ years of related experience) in synthetic chemistry is required

Experience with synthetic organic chemistry in a medicinal or process chemistry environment

Industry experience is strongly preferred.

Perform synthetic chemistry (executes, troubleshoots, designs) to provide chemical compounds in support of adMare projects (typically mg to 100 g scale)

Assist in the coordination of the day-to-day operations of the synthetic chemistry lab, including the maintenance and good operation of equipment

Utilize expertise to independently design, execute and analyze experiments using biochemistry and molecular biology skills for innovative biotherapeutics.

BSc with 10 years experience, or Ph.D. with 5 years experience in Protein Biochemistry and Molecular Cell Biology.

Experience of protein/antibody biophysical analysis, including affinity (Biacore/Octet), stability, and antibody developability assays is also desirable.

Knowledge in state of the art cloning technologies, including Golden Gate/seamless cloning and Gibson Assembly.

Demonstrates and applies advanced level of understanding and analytical skills to interpret data and draw conclusions within the project goals.

Communicates clearly and confidently and has excellent interpersonal skills.

Experienced with writing computer code, querying databases, and using computer languages like Python and SQL query.

Experience using Python libraries to create machine learning / statistical models (scikit-learn, SciPy, pandas, TensorFlow, XGBoost, etc).

Experience with time series data is considered an asset.

Strong problem-solving skills: An ability to approach complex problems analytically and derive actionable insights from data.

Work closely with senior data scientists on real-world projects, contributing to the development and improvement of the AI/ML model performance.

Conduct research and analysis to identify patterns and insights from time series data to improve forecasting accuracy.

Knowledge or experience with radiopharmaceuticals is considered an asset

In conjunction with managers, establish priorities and meet timelines for key experiments.

Manage time effectively between multiple projects.

3+ years relevant experience (industry preferred) with M.Sc., 1-2 years experience with Ph.D

Experience with biorthogonal chemistry and protein conjugation (azide-alkyne click chemistry, NHS coupling, cysteine/maleimide chemistry)

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

You will produce and maintain technical, scientific, and project management documentation

A doctoral degree in Astronomy, Physics, Statistics, Computer Science, or other related technical field, or an undergraduate degree and equivalent experience

Experience conducting and contributing to scientific research in the Physical Sciences (Minimum 3 year)

Demonstrated experience working in a collaborative team environment

Demonstrated experience with scientific coding using Python/Numpy/Scipy, as well as the Git Version Control System (Minimum 3 year experience)
