Working closely with Manager, Show Chairpersons and volunteers for all Agriculture events

Under supervision of Manager, Team Lead for Innovations Program, applications received, committee members, recruitment of new applications

Responsible and manages Government grant through Dept. of Western Economic Diversification (WED)

Write data management and operations documentation for projects.

Skills and experience managing social media and developing and delivering on-line events like webinars.

Experience and/or knowledge of HIV and AIDS, HCV, STBBI research.

Previous experience working with Indigenous communities/organizations, Elders and/or Knowledge Keepers.

Knowledge and experience operationalizing Indigenous principles of community engagement.

Strong knowledge and demonstrated skills in qualitative and quantitative research methods;

Experience using university and hospital libraries including experience with reference management software (e.g., EndNote or Mendeley) preferred

Data base management which includes data collection, entry, preparation, and analysis.

Experience with social media for science communication, patient engagement, and knowledge translation an asset.

Identifying professionals with clinical, educational and/or research sleep interests and expertise within the Maritimes.

Managing study finances within study budgets

Experience in a related role in a health centre or university/academic environment, and/or relevant experience working with children and families

Proficient computer skills in understanding or using NGS informatic pipelines

Report to the Principal Investigator providing administrative support for research and clinical studies

Maintaining ethics related paperwork and documentation

Maintain program database and research study databases

Assists PI with grant preparation, ethics and operating approval applications and renewals

Assist with research budget preparation for new grant applications

Minimum of two years of policy/project management experience; or

A degree or diploma in a relevant discipline, combined with one year of policy/project management/research coordination experience.

Prepare work plans for specific areas of responsibility assigned by the Manager;

Identify and pursue issues and funding opportunities pertaining to Inuit self-determination in research for managerial consideration;

Manage projects to ensure completion of all activities as identified in the work plan.

Report as required to the Manager.

Project management or research administration experience.

Work closely with the Manager of Research & Knowledge Translation to design and execute project activities including:

1-2 years’ experience conducting social, community and/or disabilities research in a work or academic environment.

Experience working with youth or people living with disabilities is an asset.

Experience with knowledge translation activities is an asset.

Support the creation of a comprehensive integrated knowledge translation approach, including the development and execution of knowledge products and events.
