Overview The Accounting Payroll Specialist is responsible for managing the payroll process for a company. This includes ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, maintaining payroll records, and providing customer service to employees. The Accounting Payroll Specialist must have a strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills. Detailed Job Description The Accounting Payroll Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for the company. This includes calculating and entering payroll data, preparing payroll reports, and ensuring compliance with applicable payroll laws and regulations. The Accounting Payroll Specialist is also responsible for maintaining payroll records, responding to employee inquiries, and providing customer service to employees. Job Skills Required• Knowledge of payroll laws and regulations
• Excellent organizational and communication skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• At least two years of experience in payroll processing
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification preferred
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of payroll laws and regulations
• Knowledge of payroll processing systems and procedures
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Knowledge of tax laws and regulations
Job Experience
• At least two years of experience in payroll processing
• Experience with payroll processing systems and procedures
• Experience with accounting principles and practices
• Experience with tax laws and regulations
