Manage day-to-day accounting activities are performed with high quality standards, in a timely and efficient manner.

Manage and optimize R&D credits and other available programs.

You possess an excellent knowledge of cost accounting and financial cycle in technology context.

Knowledge of BI tools would be a definite asset.

Collaborate with the Finance department and the leadership team to produce budgets and forecasts;

Minimum of 2 years of accounting practice experience.

Experience in US GAAP accounting standards (an advantage)

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft and Google suite (World, Excel, PowerPoint).

Prepare monthly and annual financial analyzes as well as monitor budget;

Monitoring of ongoing results, detection and analysis of variances in budgets and forecasts;

Ensure the effectiveness of cash management / treasury activities for the Company and all related entities

Manage and lead a team of Accounting & Finance colleagues:

Manage, maintain, and monitor all financial, cost, and operational controls and metrics

Manage the Company’s relationships with external accountants, tax advisors, and other service providers and professionals

Manage bi-weekly payroll and the maintenance of all employee files and records

Mentor and develop colleagues using a supportive and collaborative approach; assign accountabilities, set objectives, establish priorities, and monitor and evaluate results

Skills, Experience and Attributes Required:

Examine established procedures and offer recommendations for the improvement of processes, productivity and service to all stakeholders

Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience

Demonstrated knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and auditing standards, and non-profit accounting practices

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French

Ensure that accounting and reporting functions are carried out in accordance with established goals and objectives

Hands-on management of period-end closing for two entities (USA & Canada)and reporting to the corporate finance department

Excellent project management & organization skills

At least 4 years of hands-on experience in corporate finance departments as an Accountant or other similar positions

Degree or formal education in Accounting or Finance

Cash flow reporting to the corporate finance department

Plan, develop, and implement new financial working processes and procedures within the finance team

Minimum 3-5 ans expériences en Cabinet
