Job Description


A Day in the Life


  • Securing permits and approvals from external authorities as required.
  • Project coordination with multiple internal and external stakeholders, clients, and contractors.
  • You will be providing project support to our Project Manager and Design Engineer, including performing quantity estimation, preparing and maintaining project documentation, developing technical memos, preparing construction tenders, and reviewing submitted bids.
  • Chair design review meetings, identify and resolve project issues, and act as a point of contact for the site inspectors by leading and resolving construction related issues.
  • You will be working on World Class Projects and Programs in the Greater Toronto Area and Nationally.


Minimum Requirements


  • Experience with cured-in-place pipe technology would be an asset.
  • Strong computer skills, including a working knowledge of word processing (Word) and spreadsheet (Excel) software applications.
  • New Grad (Co-op/Internship) to 4 years of experience representing owners/consultants/contractors to multiple stakeholders in the delivery of a variety of transportation and civil infrastructure assets (storm, sewer, watermain, etc.)
  • A university degree or diploma in engineering, architecture, eligible for Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T)
  • Experience with GIS software packages, (ESRI, etc.) would be an asset.
  • Working knowledge of the design to award process for municipal/provincial clients, particularly the City of Toronto and the Province of Ontario.
