Lock 8 Equipment is seeking a hardworking and reliable Warehouse Attendant to join our team. The Warehouse Attendant will be responsible for various tasks related to inventory management, shipping and receiving, and general warehouse maintenance. The ideal candidate should have experience in a similar role and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The position requires the ability to operate a computer to input data into inventory management software, the ability to lift heavy objects, and some driving for pickup truck deliveries. Responsibilities

• Use a computer to update inventory management software with accurate inventory levels and locations.
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as a forklift, to lift and restock inventory.
• Pick inventory accurately and efficiently using handheld scanners.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist other team members as needed.
• Always follow safety guidelines and procedures.
• Occasionally drive a pickup truck to make deliveries to customers or suppliers.
• Prepare inventory for shipping by packaging, labeling, and documenting items in the inventory management system.
• Perform manual labor tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Receive inventory by checking the items against the purchase order and reporting any discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Operate machinery and tools as required.
• Put inventory away in designated locations in the warehouse.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Monitor the facility to ensure that it remains safe, secure, and well-maintained.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor.
• Effective communication skills
• Prior experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
• Prior experience in a warehouse environment is a plus, but not required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Familiarity with inventory management software and basic computer skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Physical strength and endurance to perform manual labor tasks.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and follow instructions accurately.

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
