Custodian / Maintenance Jobs

Our client restores and trades in the finest and rarest of classic and performance cars from their state-of-the-art facility in Georgetown (close to Milton). They are looking for a Custodian / Maintenance to join their team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the offices, common areas, lunchroom, washrooms, and other assigned areas are clean and maintained. This includes performing heavy cleaning tasks and completing minor internal and external repairs.
Salary
Starting at $20.00 per hour (temporary to permanent)
Once you become an employee, you will eligible for the benefits package (including health, dental, vision, life insurance, etc), as well as RSP program, after 6 months.
Hours Of Work
Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Open to flexible hours / days.
Responsibilities

• Cut laws using riding mower and/or push mower.
• Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects on a scheduled basis.
• Use basic hand tools and various handyman practices.
• Perform routine inspection and maintenance activities and provide feedback to management on deficiencies or repairs needed.
• Clean and maintain assigned areas, ensuring they are safe, accessible, and tidy.
• Restock and maintain inventory of disposables, cleaning supplies, coffee service, and replenish as needed.
• Complete minor internal and external repairs (drywall, paint, lights, and fixtures).

Requirements

• 3+ years in a similar role, with commercial cleaning experience being an asset.
• Demonstrated ability to use basic hand tools and various handyman practices.
• English communication skills, both verbal and written.
