At AXION FUND, we're on a mission to accelerate the transition of Canada into an innovation economy by funding research-based startups across the country. We're currently looking for a Venture Capital Apprentice to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in evaluating and conducting due diligence on potential investment opportunities.
2. Actively scouting and engaging with relevant institutions to form partnerships and source sponsors
3. Promote and engage with the ecosystem players, like Incubators, Accelerators, innovators, angel investors and accredited investors to create awareness about Axion fund.
4. Support portfolio companies with strategic guidance, connecting to resources, and tracking performance.
5. Conduct market research and industry trend analysis to inform investment strategy.
6. Participate in networking and promotional events to build relationships with startups and investors.

Desired Skills and Experience:

1. A degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field.
2. Strong interest in venture capital, startups, and innovation.
3. Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
4. Self-starter attitude and eagerness to learn.
