Working Hrs.: 7.25 Hrs./day

Assignment Type: Hybrid - 2 days onsite is required

Candidate may work on-site either location - 301 St. Paul St. St. Catharines, 222 Jarvis Ave. Toronto

• Agile/Scrum development process - 20% Working knowledge of usability methodologies including user-centric design, usability research and user testing.

• Experience - 20%
• Knowledge of the latest Web trends, techniques and technologies.
• Experience in Photoshop, Illustrator, InVision, Sketch, Balsamiq or other visual design and wireframing tools.
• Experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps.

Desirable Skills And Knowledge

• Knowledge of IT infrastructure, processes, and technology (would be an asset).
• Knowledge of UX research methodologies.

Responsibilities in: 2. Change Management and Communication.

• Using communication skills to discuss issues, seek common ground between parties, lead development of solutions and user experience development requirements.
• Experience designing the overall functionality of the product, and in order to ensure a great user experience, iterate upon it in accordance with user-testing. Experience identifying design problems and devising elegant solutions.
• Ability to communicate visually as well as in verbal and written formats.
• Thorough understanding of the limitations and appropriate use of web development technologies.
• Strong facilitation skills to lead design discussions and negotiations, present recommendations and advice to stakeholders on web/content design and strategy.
• Proven experience building relationships liaising with external partners and vendors to coordinate projects and share information.
• Experience facilitating the client's product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences for digital products and optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
• Experience conceiving and conducting user research, interviews and surveys, and translating them into sitemaps, user flows, user journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and low and high-fidelity prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
• Research and analysis.
• Experience in designing online programs/applications with multiple levels of user roles, large amount of users, and/or any other enterprise level applications.
• Experience creating visually appealing vector assets (e.g., flat vector product images, icons, etc).
• Experience designing and delivering wireframes, user stories, user flows, user journeys, mockups, and low and high-fidelity prototypes optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
• Design the overall functionality of the product in order to ensure a great user experience, iterate upon it in accordance with user-testing.
• Experience making strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features.
• A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines, managing competing priorities and client relationship management experience. Experience as a UX designer, interactive designer, UI designer, or similar role, designing for web and mobile applications.
• Experience in designing online programs/applications with emphasis in the emotional aspects of human experience.
• Create effective, user friendly and visually appealing interfaces according to current UX standards and trends.
• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools.
• General Skills and Experience:
• Ability to collaborate and provide leadership and advice on digital product development.
• Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate the designs.
• Conceive and conduct user research, interviews and surveys, and translating them into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mockups and prototypes.
• Transferring research findings into actionable design recommendations.
• Experience gathering user feedback to configure existing interfaces.
• Relevant experience creating GUI designs based on user interaction and performance.
