UX Designer - Contract

Multivista, the leader in reality capture for the construction industry is looking for a UX Designer to help shape our future Do-It-Yourself Photo Capture offering. You will work as part of a team of product managers, developers, quality analysts and cloud engineers on our industry leading product. The ideal candidate will have the vision and skills to make sense of complicated requirements, for desktop and mobile experiences, from concept through to completion. If you have a passion for building rich, highly usable software that has real-world utility, this is the position for you.

This is preferably a Hybrid Position working out of our Development Offices in Victoria, BC but we will consider Remote for the right person.

What You Will Do

• Create original design concepts as well as designs based on established guidelines
• Serve as a user advocate and liaison between product management and development teams
• Deliver high and low fidelity mock ups and prototypes based on a clear understanding of user environments, scenarios, workflows, and tasks.
• Participate as a full-time UX designer in an Agile development environment
• Develop user models, wireframes, and UI designs
• Ensure that design guidelines are maintained and shared with appropriate stakeholders to guide product design and development

What You’ll Need

• Wireframe designs, information architecture and interactive designing, data gathering
• Researching, analyzing project requirements, conceptualizing user experience design, working with a scrum team
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and prototyping skills and tools
• 5 years experience with UX design, user research and usability testing
