Urban Infrastructure Designer Jobs

Our client is one of the largest engineering and construction groups in the world, and a major player in infrastructure ownership, operations, and maintenance services. You have acquired what it takes as a municipal engineering technician- draftsman with 3D tools to help design plans for civil engineering projects? You are ready to join the team as they design, build and operate new urban and municipal engineering infrastructure.

How will you contribute to the team?

Based in the greater Montreal area, you will be part of a competent and friendly team and will use your talent with AutoCAD and Civil 3D to design and plan urban infrastructure projects.

We have a wide range of expertise and exciting projects. From the small municipal street to large-scale projects involving various governments and wastewater treatment and drinking water supply infrastructure at pumping stations and valve chambers, the challenges are many!

You will also be asked to analyze the data, make field visits, assist the team in the realization of the estimates and make technical decisions in order to advance the project, support engineers and site supervisors during work and many other related tasks. You will also be expected to design the surfaces, alignments and profiles of the plans, calculate volumes, design project-specific drawings, and assemble sheet drawings. As part of your work, you will become an expert in infrastructure design while benefiting from the constant support of an experienced technical team.

What are we looking for?

• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Good team spirit, communication skills, proactive
• Mastery of spoken and written French
• Drawing experience, ideally in urban infrastructure
• DEP in surveying or drawing
• DEC in civil engineering or any other equivalent and relevant training
