We have a NEW requirement for a Technical Executive with one of our clients.
Title: Technical Executive
Type: Permanent full time role.

Skills Required:
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Telecommunications Technology, or related field preferred
• Strong knowledge of Databases for both relational and NoSQL DBs (Oracle, Cassandra)
• Java/J2EE, JSP, Rest/Soap, Spring boot, Web Services and WebLogic products
• Strong knowledge of Apache and Tomcat for both development and support
• App monitoring tools like HP Diagnostics, Dynatrace and site-scope
• Familiar with networking concepts: switching, routing, OSI network layers, firewalls, lbs at various layers
• Experience with File Transfer protocols (FTP, SFTP/SCP, HTTP/SSL, AS2, Connect: Direct, SMTP), PGP
• Experience with Globalscape EFT 8.x version and Automate BPA 11.x is an asset
• Scripting/Development skills with XML/XPATH, HTML, CSS, Shell Scripts
• Working knowledge and understanding of cybersecurity
• Ticketing systems like Service-now, Jira, Remedy
• Experience in billing and credit check is an asset
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot and resolve all incidents/SRs with defined SLAs
• Join Tech bridge to troubleshoot/resolve high priority incidents
• Lead the RCA investigation for all high priority incidents and ensure permanent remediation is implemented
• Provide 24x7 app monitoring and support
• Perform CM and RM tasks to deploy patches and new version to prod
• Keep all app documentations up to date
• Co-ordinate with IT teams, vendors and business partners, system/network infra team, app architects and developers, others to create and maintain high performance end to end prod solutions
• Assist and support dev team when required24/7/365 rotational on-call support
• Deliver effective and defect-free support (app, software and operations)
• Follow established processes/standards, business technology architecture, risk and production capacity guidelines; plan, monitor and escalate issues as required
• Design, review, integrate app requirements (e.g. functional, security, integration, performance, quality, operations)
• Possession of effective change/incident/problem mgmt. discipline
• Excellent communication with vendors and business partners and be the liaison with other ITS teams.
