Tech Lead / Software Architect + DevOps

Wirkn is looking for a Tech Lead to improve the next generation of its product and platform.

Things you should know:

• How to automate and improve GitHub based CI/CD workflows
• How to automate DevOps tasks so you never have to do them again
• How to structure code in services, providers and through the MVC architecture
• How to manage AWS, CloudFormation-based, deployment processes
• Do’s and Don’ts of a proper REST API

What we’re working with:

• React and React Native
• Machine Learning frameworks like Tensorflow and Keras
• TypeScript, NestJS, TypeORM
• Docker and Amazon Web Services
• PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch and time-series databases

What you’ll be doing:

• Keep an eye on the release and deployment processes
• Develop, maintain and improve the DevOps processes including Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment and infrastructure scaling - by managing and improving CloudFormation templates and GitHub Actions workflows
• Develop the architecture for scalable, publicly consumable APIs
• Answer questions related to architecture for both software and operations across the company

• Automating everything, from deployment to testing
• Deploying code with the least amount of defects
• Helping and mentoring the least experienced members of the team to do the same
