Devops Engineer - Game Team

About The Role
As a DevOps Engineer you'll work as part of the engineering team for one of our soon-to-be-announced games to design, develop, deploy and support our game’s online services. This will include day-to-day management, maintenance and monitoring of cloud-based systems and ensuring the continuous delivery and verification of software to the platform via CI/CD pipelines. You'll be able to work with a great deal of autonomy, and to influence tech decisions within a collaborative Agile development environment.
What You Will Do

• Interface with central technology teams to support our integration with their tools and services
• Creating and maintaining various CI/CD pipelines for building and deploying backend microservices, as well as other CI/CD pipelines for game development
• Research and investigating of new areas to improve the efficiency across the deployment
• Creating architecture diagrams and documentation for various systems you develop
• Writing and maintaining the automation for Kubernetes cluster deployments across the cloud (AWS)
• Creating and maintaining the infrastructure for our backend microservices
• Setting up automated testing, monitoring and alarming for our infrastructure environments

Required Qualifications

• Strong familiarity with working with enterprise-scale microservice architecture
• A good knowledge of Linux OS and bash scripting skills
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Strong knowledge of AWS
• A good knowledge of CI/CD best practices
• Previous experience as a DevOps Engineer
• Being collaborative and pragmatic with good communication skills
• Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Familiarity with TypeScript/JavaScript
• Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and Helm in a production environment
• Familiarity with deployment and operation of MongoDB and Redis databases
