Job Summary
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing talent acquisition from beginning to end. As the in-house recruiter, this individual is primarily accountable for developing and implementing sourcing strategies to attract the best talent to Coreio, as well as streamlining and owning the recruitment process. Reporting into the HR Manager, the recruiter works collaboratively with hiring managers of various departments to understand their short and long-term talent needs and execute on fulfilling them.
Responsibilities And Duties
  • Recommend candidates to hiring managers for interviews and drive the process to facilitate a decision. Consult with hiring managers on the selection decision.
  • Promote Coreio as an IT services company that provides high quality enterprise-scale IT Infrastructure and Operations services
  • Maintain and grow the Coreio employment brand through social media, internal and external communication, outreach and related efforts
  • Work with candidates through pre-employment period to ensure a smooth onboarding process. Facilitate new hire orientation (as needed) and coach managers on best-in-class onboarding practices to assure successful assimilation
  • Update recruitment metrics on a weekly basis
  • Consult with hiring managers to identify and understand responsibilities, job specifications, and qualifications for positions at all levels
  • Understand the local labor market and develop and implement sourcing strategies to attract high caliber talent
  • Maintain relationships with partnered recruitment agencies
  • Build relationships with candidates and establish a pipeline for open roles through cold calling, social media and resume search databases
  • Source and screen passive candidates, and maintain Coreio’s database
  • In partnership with the HR team, research, implement and maintain an Applicant Tracking System to house all applicant and internal resource data
  • Streamline recruitment process and ensure managers follow appropriate processes in place
  • With the candidate experience in mind, recruit, screen and interview candidates for job openings.
Qualifications And Skills
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities
  • Experience sourcing potential active and passive candidates
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of full life cycle recruiting experience required. Experience in IT recruitment is a bonus!
  • Superior interpersonal skills with proven ability to effectively build relationships
  • Experience using social media platforms and applicant tracking systems
  • Strong team player who brings a large amount of enthusiasm and energy to the workplace
