Who is Divisional?
We are a managed marketplace that matches growth talent with seed-series A tech start ups. Cutbacks in the VC ecosystem means that startups are looking for efficient growth, which means that full-time hires are harder to make and rigid agencies don’t work like they use to. Post COVID, the majority of workers are now remote and have the capacity & interest to contribute 5-20 hours per week to another startup, without leaving their day job.
Divisional started as an agency in Jan 2021 and evolved into a marketplace mid-2022. After several months of tweaking our model, we have learned a ton and are set to make a big impact in the marketing + tech ecosystem.
About the Role
Divisional is hiring a Talent Acquisition Manager to drive the supply side of our marketplace (growth talent). We are looking for someone scrappy and data-driven who is hungry to grow with us & challenge the status quo of the current recruiting landscape.
You will source passive candidates and promote a pipeline of qualified, diverse growth talent for seed-series A tech companies. While there are some existing strategies that you will leverage, we are expecting this hire to constantly experiment with net-new approaches.
You will handle full-cycle recruitment at Divisional, including sourcing, outreach, screening, vetting, hiring and onboarding all candidates. Your role relies heavily in partnering with our Sales and Leadership teams to scale supply at a rate that parallels demand. For us, it’s not about sheer volume. Instead, we expect a dialed-in and refined pipeline that mirrors the current and forecasted needs of our clients/potential clients.
Responsibilities
- Communicate regularly with the Sales department to get a clear view on hiring needs and organizational goals
- Work closely with the Leadership team to develop creative ways for addressing talent acquisition challenges
- Follow & optimize Divisional’s policy for talent benchmarking, talent assessment and interviewing
- Create monthly reports on key talent acquisition metrics
- Be proactive in suggesting new ideas for improving talent acquisition strategies and/or optimizing existing ones
- Manage and improve Divisional’s ATS and roster
- Develop,implement, monitor and maintain company talent acquisition strategies for growth talent (Heads of Growth, Heads of Sales, Growth Marketers, BDR’s/SDR’s, copywriters, etc.)
The Current Focus
- Getting more dialed in on reporting (I.e→ Application Completion Rate, Time to Hire, Time to Fill, Sourcing Channel, Offer Acceptance Rate, Interviews Per Hire/Profile, Cost Per Hire, Candidate experience and New Hire Turnover Rate)
- Migrating our current database/roster of growth talent over to a more robust platform so we can classify, identify and match talent with startups faster
- Migrating our current recruitment system from Airtable to an official ATS
- Updating our application process to reflect multiple versions for different roles
