Supply Chain Buyer (230420-2)

The successful candidate will support one of our clients in the Kamloops, British Columbia area. This position has the opportunity to be fully remote (with periodic travel to site), hybrid, or site based.
In this role, you will provide support to the site procurement team, for forecasting, inventory management, ordering, receiving, status updates, requirement gathering, and supporting both Capital and Operational departments.
Requirements
To be considered for this position a candidate must have a minimum of 5+ years as a buyer in an industrial setting, and demonstrate the ability to perform the following:

• DC and Inventory ordering, confirmations, expediting, change orders, invoicing
• Inventory Control Requests processing
• Forecasting: Attending Monthly 3-month look ahead, review need requirements and flush out details with technical team
• Hosting a weekly call with Mine Ops to review upcoming projects requiring purchasing assistance
• Experience with SAP and/or Ariba
• Compiling forecasts, following up with Mine Ops and related departments for outstanding forecasts, checking logic, and reporting
