JOB TITLE: Supplier Quality Analyst
Location: Mississauga
We are currently looking for a Supplier Quality Analyst to join our busy and growing manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be engaged in elevating the department and company to the next level. The incumbent will be forward looking and thrive in a culture of continuous improvement.

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITYReporting directly to the Director of Operations, the Supplier Quality Analyst will maintain a best in class Supplier Quality Program that will drive supplier quality performance by implementation of appropriate supplier controls and performance indicators.
Key Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Facilitate FAI (First Article Inspection) and part inspections
- Conducting process audits of suppliers to verify compliance and effective implementation of QMS, CAR’s etc.
- Provide subject matter expertise, on Supplier Quality Assurance, in all aspects of new or existing supplier engagement, including selection, onboarding and/or disengagement
- Work closely with Supply Chain and the Product Development teams to develop new suppliers and, ensure design for quality is embedded in their processes to ensure repeatability, predictability, and scalability
- Assess, evaluate, and drive effective implementation of (RCCA) Root Cause Corrective Actions for supplier non-conformance until closure
- Identify risk in supplier’s manufacturing processes and systems; partner with Supply Chain in the execution of supplier risk mitigation efforts
- Develop and communicate supplier quality performance reports (internal/external)
- Create, maintain, and review the Supplier Audits Results database
- Measure reliability of the manufacturing processes and effectiveness of supplier’s quality management and assurance systems
- All other duties and projects as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of ERP Systems
- Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong understanding of relationship between quality standards and processes
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High proficiency with MS Office Suite (superior Excel and PowerPoint skills)
- Principles of 8D, Fishbone, Five-Why and PFMEA
- Understanding of ISO 9001 / AS 9100 standards and why they exist
Educational/Experience Requirements:
- University Degree or College Diploma in industrial or mechanical engineering with quality assurance/control experience
- Problem solving and Root Cause Analysis training and experience
- Extensive knowledge and hands on experience leading ISO 9001 / AS 9100 planning, procedure and process development, process control, internal audits, and continuous improvement activities
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Quality Assurance within assembly, manufacturing, or supplier environments
