We are looking for multiple Asset Management Superintendents to lead a team of technical professionals, balance risk, performance, and budget of asset optimization initiatives, in their respective area.


This role is a great opportunity for a safety-oriented and engaging leader to achieve a high level of quality, reliability, efficiency, safety, and consistency in the operation of their respective area plant equipment and processes.

Reporting to the Asset Management Manager and working a Monday to Friday schedule, you will be


  • Identifying and assessing the business implications/benefits of capital projects
  • Assisting in the preparation of the annual area maintenance budgets and continuously reviewing conformance to budget
  • Identifying equipment operational and design issues that prevent the department or the facility from attaining and sustaining the targeted production levels within budget
  • Providing support for critical breakdowns and incidents outside of your standard schedule as needed
  • Implementing and supporting the reliability excellence program, and action plans in Asset Protection
  • Identifying repeated maintenance and equipment problems within the operating department, or plant-wide, including the root cause and recommendations for their elimination
  • Accountable for promoting and compliance with the safety standards across your area
  • Maintaining excellent communication with stakeholders across site
  • Leading and developing a team of technical professionals


What You’ll Bring


  • A minimum of a valid B.C. Class 7 Driver’s license or equivalent
  • Leadership experience within a relevant setting
  • A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
  • A bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
  • A proactive and strategic approach
  • A competent and visible leadership style of guiding, mentoring, developing and empowering team members resulting in positive employee engagement
  • Clear and engaging interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of work management processes
