Job Responsibilities:

• Investigate and provide post-implementation support of the technical solution implemented
• Design, develop, and unit test Full Stack web application solutions for moderate to complex work objects assigned
• Understand and interpret functional requirements as set forth in the functional design documents
• Prepare and implement the technical solution to the production environment
• Provide support to test teams during product and UAT testing of the technical solution developed
• Develop, integrate, test, maintain and enhance existing and proprietary platform applications (e.g. Web Applications).

Agile Development

• Provide basic design documents and translate them into component-level designs to accelerate development.
• Define and develop project requirements, functional specifications, and detailed designs of application solutions for clients
• Assist in developing technical documentation; participate in test-plan development, integration, and deployment
• Participate in sprint planning, design, coding, unit testing, and sprint reviews

Recommended Skills:

• Experience working in an Object-oriented language (Java, C#)
• Experience working with web applications on AWS
• Any or all of the following:
• Experience working with RDBMS such as Oracle. etc.
• Ability to understand existing application by reading source code with minimal documents
• Experience with front end technology including (Angular, React, Node, SQL)
• Experience working in an Agile Team environment as well as working independently
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Experience with a processing language including Python and/or SQL
• Experience with Web Service/API technologies REST
• Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

The majority of our workforce is currently working remotely, with a possibility of working under a hybrid (remote/in-office) model in 2023. As such, we require all students to reside in Ontario for the duration of their placement.
