Position: Studio Liaison
Reporting to: Head of Operations
Martini Film Studios is a full-service film and TV production facility in Langley, offering studios, support spaces, exterior film locations for film use. We work with some of the top studios and production companies in the World and we are expanding the business by building new film studios in the next few years. The Martini Entertainment Group is a sister company launched in 2021 to develop and produce a range of new TV projects for the Canadian and International markets.
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Studio Liaison to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for thriving in a dynamic and creative environment with a proven track record of success in similar roles.
The Studio Liaison is responsible for the professional and efficient managing of stages and studio facility and serve as liaison between production and studio operations. Studio Liaison is the first point of contact for productions and as such, coordinates with vendors, oversees production client requests, stage technical processes, logistics, coordination of facility repairs and maintenance, as well accurate and comprehensive communication with all direct reports.

Duties/ Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
·Conduct daily inspections of the studio site, both interior and exterior
·Oversee move in and move outs of production in coordination with the facilities team
·Perform familiarisation training for studio systems and lot procedures
·Maintain and catalogue all facilities keys in communication with Facilities
·Enforce safety rules and regulations as they relate to the studio including security
·Maintain, log, monitor and oversee security badges and all security related issues
·Respond and manage questions or concerns from tenants, vendors and staff
·Communicate effectively with clients using production terminology
·Conduct stage, studio and off-site location tech scouts with prospective productions
·Maintain and cultivate relationships with studio vendors
·Communicate and coordinate stage and production needs with on-lot Facilities team
·Assist Maintenance Manager with resolution of Facility related problems
·Address all parking needs for tenants and productions as they arise with Facilities. (This includes VIP parking, catering, trailers and work trucks and the coordination of off lot parking for background/extras/casting parking)
·Assist with scheduling of officers, engineers, sprinklers on/off, blocked fire lanes, fire dept. notification, parking relocation, tenant notification and preparing billing
·Complete special projects and tasks as assigned by management
·Keeps immediate supervisor well-informed of activities, results of efforts and problems identified/potential problems; recommend corrective action.
Qualifications/Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty. The
requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
·Bachelor’s degree in communication, Business or related discipline
·Proven experience with a minimum of 2 years working in a similar role or relevant position
·Customer Service skills; exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders
· Strong English oral and written communications skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, vendors and internal teams.
·Valid BC Drivers license
·Willingness to periodically work overtime and able to adapt to shift changes that may include holidays, evenings and weekends
·Presents and exhibits a positive attitude and professional image
·A keen eye for detail and the ability to ensure projects meet high-quality standards
·Thrives on multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
·Strong desire to learn new skills
·Enjoys working with others in a team environment
·Strong organizational and time management skills
·Ability to self-manage, problem solve and take initiative
·Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Teams, Excel and SharePoint
·Desirable: Good understanding of studio operations processes from both production and studio perspective and/or experience working as an ALM or in a production office.
