Sr. / Senior Project Manager - High-Rise Residential - Ottawa

Our reputable client recognized as one of the Top 20 General Contractors in Canada has partnered with Randstad Engineering in search for Sr Project Manager for their Ottawa offices for their HIGH-RISE Residential division.
This role will be responsible for managing a team of Project Managers, guiding in the areas of pre-construction budgeting, planning, scheduling, procurement, execution, turnover and contracts closeout delivery.
They are looking for a sharp minded, computer savvy individual who is highly organized, poised with strong communication skills, and has the ability to manage well under pressure, and previous team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Prepare scopes of work (SOW) for Trades,
• Lead project team, keeping project within budget and on schedule
• Liaise and report updates to stakeholders
• Develop bidding strategy, assemble bid packages, administer tender process, execute contract negotiations
• Monitor Contractor / Vendor pending costs

Qualifications

• 3 + years leading a team
• Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management
• 10 years experience within Project Management, majority preferably with a General Contractor, and must have High-Rise Residential
