Sr. Business Analyst - Erp Experience Required

TalentCompass is hiring a Sr. Business Analyst for a client in Edmonton. This is a full-time temporary position for 1 year.

Job Purpose

You will be providing support for the following services:

- Project management

- Full user support and help desk management

- Business process operations activities

- Supporting 1GX functionality

- User access and permissions

- UAT, testing, date integrity and scrambling

- Supporting 1GX software upgrades and releases

Responsibilities:

• Create project documents and associated planning documents.
• Perform project management, business and technical analysis and systems design in delivering complex software solutions spanning n-tier development environments.
• Provide support by bridging communication between vendors, client ministries, and corporate technical and business teams.
• Participate iterative development using model-based processes .
• Produce project artifices with XML; UML and/or other web-services technologies.
• Assist in the development of new IT services.
• Create new business and technical processes and complete business process reviews/re-engineering for existing processes.
• Facilitate business process improvement sessions.
• Escalate unresolved issues/risks, options and recommendations.
• Lead consultations and facilitate stakeholder meetings.
• Create business requirements, functional specifications and technical requirements.
• Create stakeholder analyses.
• Responsible for business architecture design, software system specifications design, and database modelling.
• Schedule, organize and lead project status meetings and other meetings as required.

Qualifications:

• 4 years experience using reporting tools to build queries to support impact analysis and knowledge transfer to others
• 4 years experience working in specific streams - SCM, Finance, HCM, Payroll, and/or Security
• 4 years experience with development and implementation of content management, document management, records management, information management processes in applications.
• 4 years experience working within ERP solutions, including SAP/S4Hana, SuccessFactors, Ariba, and/or VIM
• 4 years experience in developing ERP services including the development of service definitions, service measurements, cost models, processes, implementation and operational hand over.
• 4 years experience in facilitating meetings and communicating with senior management and project stakeholders.
• Must have at least 8 years of BA experience
