Job Description

Responsibilities


  • Configure and optimize the ERP system to enhance efficiency in inventory management processes, including tasks like setting up item master data and defining inventory locations.
  • Actively troubleshoot and resolve inventory-related issues, working closely with the IT department to ensure prompt resolution and minimal disruption.
  • Implement batch tracking for all inventory categories and reconcile suspense inventory with the waste tracker for accurate inventory management.
  • Generate detailed inventory reports and conduct data analysis to facilitate informed decision-making, including the identification of slow-moving or obsolete inventory, analysis of stock levels, and forecasting of demand.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze inventory data, identify areas for improvement, and propose system enhancements aimed at streamlining inventory management processes.
  • Administer and maintain the inventory management module of the ERP system to ensure accurate tracking and recording of inventory volume and product receipts.
  • Provide comprehensive training and support to end-users, enabling them to effectively utilize inventory-related functionalities within the ERP system, such as inventory receipt, transfer, and cycle counting.


Requirements


  • Ability to adapt and embrace change easily.
  • Experience in managing or coaching teams is preferred.
  • Prior experience in ERP implementation, preferably with a focus on inventory management.
  • Ability to work in a refrigerated environment (0 to +4 degrees) if required.
  • Demonstrated passion for continuous learning and keeping up-to-date with industry trends and advancements.
  • Experience in warehouse and inventory management.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with SQL or database querying languages for data analysis and reporting purposes.
