Solutions Architect Jobs

Position Summary

As a Solutions Architect, you own the solution end-to-end. It is your solution, and nobody will know it better than you. You will work with stakeholders, estimators, and project managers. Your challenge will be to design secure, scalable projects that are on time and on budget.

What You Will Do

• From physical to application, your work will touch all layers of the OSI
• Various other duties and responsibilities. 
• Design customized systems based on customer requirements, budget and CBN Architectural standards.
• Compare and evaluate new technologies, making recommendations to the Architecture Review Board

Skills and Abilities

• Hardware: SuperMicro, HP
• Backup and Storage: NAS, 3PAR, Equaligic, TrueNAS, FreeNAS
• Windows: 2019 Core, AD, WSUS, DNS, DHCP
• Scripting and Automation: Terraform, Puppet
• Infrastructure: System Rack Design
• Linux: CentOS, Redhat
• Networking: Fortigate, Layer 2, Layer 3

Mandatory Requirements

• Travel to some customer sites to install hardware and infrastructure (Of course only when it’s safe!)
• Ability to obtain and maintain Government of Canada Secret (Level II) clearance.
