Social Media Strategist - ONSITE CALGARY BASED ROLE

Join a leading Calgary based dental solutions company that is passionate about client’s smiles… and they are hiring a Social Media Strategist to join their Marketing team and work onsite at their downtown Calgary office. In this newly created role, you will develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase web traffic and brand awareness and handle all social media accounts in a cohesive way while ensuring the company web presence is aligned with marketing strategies.

• Collaborate with Marketing and Product development teams to create social ‘buzz' regarding new product launches and continuing education events for dental professionals.
• Design social media strategies to achieve marketing targets, and manage, create, and publish original high-quality content.
• Facilitate client/company communication by responding to queries, obtaining reviews, and organizing chats and Q&A sessions.
• Administer company social media accounts ensuring up-to-date content and liaise with writers and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing.
• Train internal teams to integrate and maintain a cohesive social media strategy.
• Stay up to date with new digital technologies and social media best practices.
• Analyze data to determine effectiveness of campaigns and report findings to management team.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports on web traffic and ROI.
• Communicate with industry professionals via social media to create a strong network.

Qualified candidates must possess post-secondary education with a Marketing specialty, and proven and relevant work experience in a similar role with hands-on experience using social media to promote brand awareness, a solid understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics, and an ability to identify target audience preferences and build content to meet them. Familiarity with photography, web design and publishing required.
