What You’ll Be Doing


You’ll be a part of our Credit Services Team, reporting to Team Leader, Credit Services. As a Small Business AML Analyst, you’ll review client and account information, documentation, and coordinate with frontline and clients to ensure client records comply with CIBC's Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Anti-Terrorist Financing (ATF) Standard.

How You’ll Succeed


  • Flexibility – Able to multitask and be adaptable to take on new duties as assigned by the Manager.
  • Regulatory Compliance – Strong analytical skills to understand the AML/ATF regulatory requirements and properly assess compliant and non-compliant accounts. Review client information and documentation with a high degree of accuracy. Complete AML activities within the SLA timelines.
  • Relationship Management - Strong communication and relationship management to ensure that AML activities are clearly communicated to frontline (e.g. Banking Centre, BBSS, Business Controls) or Clients and completed within the timelines. Apply proper business balance between regulatory compliance and client impacts.
