Shop Coordinator Jobs

Coordinating with the Fabrication Shop Manager and Engineering staff, the shop coordinator will be responsible for assessing scope on various fabrication projects, creating and maintaining Gantt charts to follow progress, while working as a liaison to purchasing and management ensuring raw materials and workflow SOP's are conducted.

Responsibilities

• Communicating work requirements to the shop manager, shop staff, as well as Engineering production and QC staff
• Developing and managing timeline changes within scop
• Assessing and developing work scope on various fabrication projects
• Creating and maintaining Gantt Charts based on scope

Qualifications

• EIT, Engineering Technologist, or equivalent tradesperson
• Candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Excel with exposure to Microsoft Project.
• Previous experience in slurry pipe spool assembly an asset
• Strong organization skills
• Candidate must be flexible in job scope, willing to work in a fast paced environment
• Quality Control certifications an asset (ASNT NDT Level 2 or eq)
• Strong oral communicator

This is a Union, full time, hourly position with optional overtime. Full benefits and RSP matching upon completion of probation will be included.
