Job Description
Shop Technician - Motor Shop (Weekend Shift)


Phoenix Technology Services LP is a progressive and innovative Calgary based Directional Drilling Company. Driven by our client’s needs, we are committed to providing more efficient and cost-effective drilling operations.


We have multiple openings for a Shop Technician - Motor Shop at our SE Technical Centre. The Shop Technician is an entry level position, and they are accountable for providing supervised maintenance on performance drilling motors, as per Phoenix Technology Services policies and procedures.


Responsibilities Also Include


  • Availability for after hours and weekend work schedules when necessary.
  • Maintain service tools and equipment.
  • Assist Motor Service Technicians when required.
  • Clean and prepare performance drilling motor components for inspection.
  • Paint and prepare final products for shipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.


The successful candidate will have a high school diploma, mechanical aptitude and is a detail-oriented individual with solid organization and communication skills. Oil and gas industry experience is an asset.
