Service Technician Jobs

Position: Millwright or Machinist

Location: Nisku, Alberta, Canada

Summary Pump Mechanic / Machinist: Assembly and disassembly of various types of pumps. Performs all work in accordance with established quality & safety procedures.

Essential Responsibilities

• Adhere to ITT Environmental, Safety and Health guidelines.
• Properly use, read and maintain precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and veneers.
• Follow ISO 9001 Quality Program,
• Painting, pump disassembly and assembly.
• Use of drills, grinders, drill press, presses, lathes.
• Cleaning, preparing equipment for assembly
• Ability to read machining blueprints and understand tolerances.

Position Requirements

Education:

• Machining or Millwright apprentices preferred.
• High School Diploma, mechanically inclined.

Other Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

• Willing to learn and grow.
• Shows initiative.
• A team player.
• Some experience in the repair of mechanical equipment
• Personable.
