FitFix Inc. is hiring for a Fitness Equipment Service Technician.

FitFix is a leading fitness equipment sales & service company based in Calgary, Alberta. We have been offering Sales, Service, and Repairs for new & reconditioned fitness equipment for residential and commercial clients since 2005.

We are continuing to growing our current portfolio with expansion goals across Canada.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

- We are looking for someone to hire and train immediately, who will be able to responsibly, professionally, and meticulously

clean/detail, service/diagnose & repair both commercial & residential fitness equipment.

-You’ll be dealing with clientele on a regular basis and need to have well-spoken English.

-You'll be traveling all over Calgary and eventually trusted with our clientele outside the city limits as we do service Alberta, B.C. & Sask.

-Service supplies will be provided for you which will be your responsibility to keep clean and organized. Laundry detergent etc

supplies will be provided.

-This job is suitable for both males or females, but heavy lifting will be required as equipment will need to be moved. Lifting of apx.

100-150 Lbs will be necessary at times.

Eligibility and Requirements:

-You MUST have a GOOD grasp of basic electronics and mechanical skills, a MacGyver mind-set sure helps as well as some knowledge

of fitness equipment, even if just from previous usage.

-Full Time position available for either employee or contractor.

- A vehicle, smartphone and your own hand tools are essential. Specialty tools will be provided.

- Must send resume with references and willingness to have a background check done. References will be verified before offering the

job. So pls make sure they are included.

Normally we are flat out busy but we are still recouping from the Gov. shutting our industry down. The work load can be sporicidal at times. You may have 0-4+ jobs/day so depending on your lifestyle the monthly pay can vary.

Pay is issued every 2 weeks (15 & end of month) with a 2-week delay. Meaning, after starting you will get paid after the 4th week for the work you did from the first 2 weeks working. This is put in place as if there are any issues with customers, you are responsible for any callbacks that won’t be paid if it’s related to the work you previously did. You’ll need to take responsibility for your work.

***We are known for our detailed work when we clean and maintain equipment. I need someone that will really take pride in this aspect and not cut corners. You make more staying on a job than rushing from one to the next with of course the job being done in a realistic time frame.

We will start working together so I can show you the ropes. Ideally, you should be able to grasp the basics in as little as a week or 2. The faster you learn and we both feel confident, the faster you can get out on your own, which will grant you more money.
