Service Technician Jobs

You will be servicing and conducting inspection on the components of various down-hole tools using laser scanners, micrometers and several other specialty tools in order to report post run findings and ensure quality control. This position also requires the tracking and organized storage of these components.

Responsibilities

-Measuring stators and rotors as they come through the facility

-Successful communication with service technicians from other departments

-Maintaining a clean and organized workstation

-Proper handling of quality control and measuring equipment

-Maintaining a clean and reliable database for the status if parts and any additional data entry

-Measuring and conducting fit reports on mud motor power sections

-Organization of equipment and rack areas in the yard

-Laser scanning rotors with 3D measuring equipment

-Preparation of packing slip and purchase orders

Qualifications

-Computer knowledge is a must. In order to maintain databases, the position requires experience with primarily Microsoft Office suites: Excel, Word, Outlook etc.

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills

-Backgrounds in oil and gas drilling operations would be an asset.
