Service Technician - Boisbriand,Qc

One of our clients in Boisbriand,QC is looking for Service Technician for their facility.

Shift: Days

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare the required work order, including in it all of the steps that should be followed.
• Describe work executed in designated sections of the work order, review and sign when completed.
• Assess the work to be done on equipment designated for repairs.
• Takes care of shipping and receiving 5%
• Do tests on various pieces of equipment and record the results in the relevant work orders.
• Ensure telephone support with customers for all technical questions
• Takes care of inventory and parts control
• Identify needed parts and equipment required for emergency calls and service contracts.
• Respect and execution of all procedures and norms established (ISO 9001- 2008)
• Identify which parts are required and how long repairs will take.
• Ensure the mechanical and cleaning maintenance of any service vehicles used for transportation to customer locations.
• Prepare an assessment of the repairs to be done and submit it to the Service
• After customer approval, execute required repairs and ensure that all steps are duly followed.

Qualtifications

• Knowledge of the Microsoft Office software suite.
• A vocational school diploma in Industrial Mechanics
• 5 year experience, ideally in pump repair, rotating equipment, compressor and/or external customer services
