How your role will add to the story:
The Service & Parts Market Analyst is responsible for achieving a network inventory strategy for service parts which support corporate sales, campaign & recalls, inventory turnover and customer service level goals by attaining optimal inventory levels at the Canadian Parts Distribution Centers (PDC's). In addition, the analyst gathers and analyzes large volumes of critical data in order to develop systems improvements and reporting.
A day in the life
- Manage accurate PDC inventory forecasting
- Process PDC operational related vendor invoices and provide relevant documents to support MBC Accounting for audit purposes
- Support MBC IT and Digital House projects and migrate Parts Logistics data-to-data lake
- Scrapping, vendor buy back to GLC, transfers between CA01 and CA02, stock (obsolescence) transfer to MBUSA
- Reporting of inventory status and breakdown to GLC Material & Inventory Controlling and other relevant key business partners
- Leverage lean skillset to establish a library of system level procedures, work instructions, and training documents to support the team
- Align inventory analysis methods, tools and approaches with MBUSA SCM team

Mercedes-Benz Star skills, requirements & traits:
- Honest and professional, a strong team player
- College or University diploma in math, technical, business or related field
- Big picture thinker, go-getter, self-starter
- In-depth knowledge of Warehousing, Financial Acumen, SAP and Excel
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in data analysis, preferably in automotive or a supply chain organization
