We are looking for a Sr. Talent Acquisition Business Partner to join our People & Culture team! As the Sr. Talent Acquisition Business Partner, you will be responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process. In this role, you will continually partner with clients to develop and implement recruitment strategies which meet the business needs to fill open positions cost effectively, through sourcing and selecting top talent!
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Consultant- as an expert in recruitment, you will provide feedback and recommendations to both the candidate and the hiring manager regarding strengths and development opportunities, with the goal of selecting the most qualified candidate.
- Offer of Employment- managing the job offer process, including negotiation, processing background checks, onboarding and conducting orientation sessions.
- Talent Attraction- identifying and utilizing creative sourcing strategies to attract top talent at all levels within our organization. You will develop cost effective, efficient, proactive, and innovative solutions to meet clients’ recruiting needs. Utilizing best practices to design recruitment strategies to acquire and retain talent and lead recruitment initiatives throughout the organization. You will be responsible for building and implementing DCM’s employer brand strategy as well as retention strategies.
- Full Cycle Recruitment- includes but not limited to; creating job postings, screening candidates, conducting interviews to assess candidates, making hiring recommendations, providing support and counsel to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process, generating offer letters and associated documents, updating the HRIS system and working closely with the People & Culture team to keep them updated and informed throughout the process.
- Participating in various departmental projects, as required
- Manage on-site open houses and attend job fairs throughout the year
- Merge newly acquired companies into DCM framework
- Strategize – You will partner with the local HR business partners to create new and innovative strategies to attract, recruit and retain each candidate. Once hired each candidate needs customized learning and development plans that you will work with the HRBP to create and develop internal Talent.
- Relationship Building- developing and maintaining strong working relationships with internal stakeholders to understand current and future recruitment needs, determining optimum sourcing strategies and partnering with leadership to identify and understand needs while assisting them with meeting both their business and employee requirements. Also, involves maintaining and building relationships with the People & Culture team to keep abreast of any employment related matters to ensure a smooth, seamless delivery of HR services. You will also be responsible for building long-lasting client relationships with various colleges and universities, etc.
- Performing other duties as required
- Participate in International recruiting
- Tracking- using our internal HRIS to maintain information during the recruitment process, ensuring all information is current and activity is updated on a timely basis. You will provide senior management with reporting on an ongoing basis
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proficient in MS Office
- Understanding of and demonstrated ability in applying behavioral profiling tools in the talent acquisition process
- Bilingual- English & French is preferred
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources Management or equivalent, preferred
- Attention to detail and demonstrating a high sense of urgency in delivering high quality service
- Results oriented and have a demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities
- Experience in a non-union and unionized environment
- Understanding and knowledge of ESA in Ontario, Human Rights Code, and OHSA
- Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and social media tools
- Advanced communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to establish credibility and be decisive.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team
- 2-5 years of experience in HR and Talent Management
- Ability to get along with diverse personalities, tactful, mature, and flexible
